David Van Bouwel
Harpsichord, Organ
David Van Bouwel After obtaining a master degree (with highest distinction for organ, studying under Prof. Luc Ponet) at the Lemmensinstituut (Leuven, Belgium) David Van Bouwel's artistic development was greatly influenced by several masterclasses with prominent organists such as Liuwe Tamminga, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini and Martin Haselböck on the early organ repertory.

His passion for the basso continuo brought him to several early-music ensembles like Il Fondamento, Ex Tempore, Capilla Flamenca, I Justiniani and others where he could work with conductors such as Florian Heyerick, Paul Dombrecht, René Jacobs and Jean Tubery.

Other activities include musical supervision during recordings, radio/cd recordings, repetitor/assistent in baroque operas and teaching (improvisation and accompaniment).
