Jana Stuart A native of Montreal, Canada, Jana Stuart made her debut at age 13 with the Haydn D major piano concerto. After having obtained her Bachelor of Music at McGill University under the tutelage of Dorothy Morton, she received a bursary from Le Conseil des arts et lettres du Quebec (Quebec Council of the arts) to study with Eugen Indjic at the Schola Cantorum in Paris, France.

For the past few years she has studied at the Chautauqua Summer music school in New York, as well as at the International Holland music sessions in the Netherlands.

She has also studied with Gyorgy Sandor, Lee Kum Sing, Marie-Francoise Bucquet, Jan Marisse Huizing, Piotr Paleczny, Angela Chan, Rebecca Penneys, Gabriel Chodos, Richard Raymond, Abbey Simons, Josiane Lefebvre, and Esfir Dyachkov.

Since her arrival in Paris, France, in September 1999, she has been active as a soloist, accompanist, chamber musician, and piano tutor.

Early in 2001, Ms. Stuart performed in the following North American cities: Toronto, London, Montreal, and Washington D.C. This past June 2001 Jana left Paris to return to her native Montreal, Canada where she continues to pursue her career as a performance artist. Jana is currently taking private lessons with Gregory Chaverdian in Montreal, Canada. She plans to continue her musical studies at Concordia University in Montreal in the fall of 2002
