Silverwood Duo
Chamber groups, Flute, Guitar | |
Immediately discovering their shared vision, Renée Bond and Paige Jackson joined artistic forces in 1999. They perform with a passion for their instruments, introducing audiences to the unique and varied repertoire composed for flute and guitar. The Silverwood Duo is emerging as one of Arizona's premiere chamber music ensembles. One of their goals is to make the rich tradition of classical music accessible through community outreach programs. The ensemble was a recipient of multiple grants through the Tucson/Pima Arts Council, and has been featured on KUAT's "Arizona Illustrated" and broadcast on several radio programs nation-wide. Their first CD "Collage" has been met with critical acclaim.
