Sharon Selman
Soprano
Sharon Selman Sharon Selman is a dramatic coloratura soprano, who performs both in concert and opera throughout Europe and further afield.

Concert appearances in recent years have included solo recitals, charity concerts, a recital in 2001 for the Maria Callas International Society, charity gala evenings at The Lansdowne Club, Mayfair and recently a concert for Friends of Columbia Social Fund, at Dunsborough Park.

A former member of the BBC Symphony Chorus and The National Youth Choir of Great Britain, she has successfully completed tours in the USA (Seattle and Hawaii) and in Canada (Vancouver and Victoria).

Forthcoming engagements include concerts and corporate entertainment in the UK, Holland, and Greece in 2003 and concerts in the UK, Holland and the South of France in 2004.

Following singing and piano studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, she now studies with the international singer Jenny Hill, who herself studied with the great Spanish coloratura Elvira di Hidalgo, whose teaching found its finest example in the incomparable Maria Callas.

She is managed solely by her agent Elizabeth Adams.
