Ebony-kwartet
Chamber groups, Clarinets
Ebony-kwartet The Ebony-kwartet was founded in 1993. Through the years they have built a unique repertoire by creating and performing lots of contemporary compositions (mostly postmodern) by composers from all over the world. The great sound possibilities created by the combination of the small Eb-clarinet, the Bb-clarinet, the alto clarinet and the bass clarinet are a real challenge for composers who like to treat the Ebony-kwartet on the same level as the string quartet.

They perform all over the Low Countries and are regularly invited on festivals abroad. They have won the second prize at the prestigious Orpheus Prize 2002 (International Concours for the Interpretation of Contemporary Chamber music).
