Francesco Di Lernia
(born in 1962) studied organ in Italy (Foggia and Bologna) and in Germany at Lübeck Akademy of Music (Prof. Martin Haselböck).
At the conclusion of his studies he gained the organ concert diploma with distinction.
Active as concert performer, he has played in the most prestigious festivals and music centres of Europe, U.S. and Asia, as organist and with instrumental ensembles (Wiener Akademie, Jugendsymphonieorchester Europas, Wiener Philharmoniker) recording as well for various television and radio networks.
He edited the complete organ works of Johann Kaspar Kerll and Antonio Caldara for Universal Edition in Vienna. He is invited to give master classes throughout Europa, especially on subjects concerning renaissance and baroque music from Italy and South of Germany (Istituto dell'Organo Storico Italiano, Attersee Barock Akademie, Sächsisch-Thüringische Orgelakademie, etc.). He has made various CDs recording (Jubal Records, Novalis, Dynamic, E Lucevan Le Stelle).

Professor for organ at the Conservatory of Music in Campobasso, he is also Artistic Director of Bari International Organ Festival, which he founded in 1995.
