The intention of the Volos International Music Festival is to cover through a significant number of concerts many sections of classical music. The main aim of the Festival is to bring together artists and their cultures through the magic of music, in order to continue their artistic activities with new collaborations and artistic exchanges.
The Festival will be advertised through media, Greek television, radio, press and the artists will have the opportunity to present their work through interviews on TV and radio. A large promotion will be provided also by our Web site and other links. There will be a free professional CD recording and a video recording for all the participants. The Festival will provide to all the artists the world-famous Greek hospitality in a hotel in Volos near the sea.
The Volos' International Music Festival will offer to the participants an experience for life, because they will have the opportunity to perform in those halls where artists like Sviatoslav Richter, Enrico Mainardi, Julius Katchen, Ruggiero Ricci, Paul Badura-Skoda, Smetana Quartet, Roberto Szidon, Alexandre Uninski, Gina Bachauer, Andre Navarra etc. have performed in the past years.
