DMITRI SHTEINBERG's career has taken him across North America, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Bulgaria and Israel. His solo performances include the Jerusalem Symphony, The Italian Philarmonica Marchetiana, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Israel Camerata Orchestra and Porto National Symphony, among others. Mr. Shteinberg was the featured artist in the Sarasota Music Festival, National Arts Centre Young Artists Program in Ottawa, Israeli "Music in Galilee" Radio Chamber Music Festival, "Rolandseck" Festival in Germany and the Russian "Palaces of St. Petersburg".

He has recorded for the Israeli "Voice of Music" radio station (15 recordings and broadcasts) and WQXR radio station in New York; as a member of "Kineret" Piano Trio he was selected from more than 500 ensembles to participate in Isaac Stern's workshop in Carnegie Hall. Most recently, he collaborated with New York Philharmonic members and the violinist Ani Kavafian.

Dmitri Shteinberg is a permanent recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarships and a major prizewinner in 9 Israeli competitions, including the Young Artist Competition in Jerusalem and the Tel-Aviv Academy of Music annual competitions. Mr. Shteinberg participated in Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes in Israel and was awarded performance prizes twice. His international awards include the first prize in "Citta de Senigallia" International Competition in Italy, prizes in Porto International Competition and First Tbilisi Piano Competition in Georgia. In the United States, Mr. Shteinberg won the Artists International Debut Award, and played a recital in Weill Recital Hall. He was also awarded prizes in the Olga Koussevitsky Competition and the Haddonfield Symphony Solo Competition and received the Salon De Virtuosi Fellowship Grant. His chamber music performances at the Manhattan School of Music brought him the Helen Cohn Award in 2001.

A native of Moscow, Dmitri Shteinberg began his piano lessons at the age of five. A year later he was accepted to the Gnesin Special School of Music, where he studied under Ms. Anna Kantor, the teacher of Eugeny Kissin. After immigrating to Israel, Mr. Shteinberg continued his piano studies with Prof. Victor Derevianko as a student at the Tel-Aviv Academy of Music. Currently, Dmitri Shteinberg is a full scholarship Doctoral candidate at the Manhattan School of Music and studies under Mme. Nina Svetlanova. Mr. Shteinberg's first American CD was issued in 2000. Along with his busy performance schedule, Mr. Shteinberg also teaches secondary piano at the Manhattan School of Music and holds a head coordinator position in the Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes.
