Roberto Fresco
Roberto Fresco was born in Astorga (Spain), where he started his musical education. He sudied organ in the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música of Madrid under Miguel del Barco, following his training with Montserrat Torrent, with whom ghe is mainly working on Iberian Antique Music. After that, he was given a grant by the Ministery of Culture of Austria and Spain to fulfill his education with Michael Radulescu in de Hochschule für Musik und Danstellende Kunst of Vienna.

As a soloist, he has an active concert schedule around Europe, Spain, EEUU, Mexico and the Filipinas Islands, intervening in cycles of concerts, festivals, congresses, etc., with a repertoire that embraces from the music of the XVI century until the production of vanguard. He often works with Schola Antiqua frequently carrying out reconstructions of masses of the Renaissance and Baroque times with different European repertoires. He also collaborates regularly with some of the most important Spanish orchestras and he has recorded various CD of old Spanish and contemporary music.

From 1997 he has been a professor and organist of the Seminario Conciliar de la Inmaculada y San Dámaso of Madrid and Organ professor at the Conservatory of Music of Palencia. He is the director of the Organ Academy of "Fray Joseph de Echevarría" whose studys take place at the historical organs of Tierra de Campos (Palencia). He was recently appointed as the official organist of Santa María la Real de la Almudena Cathedral in Madrid.
