Christian Welde lives on the west coast of Norway and creates very relaxing/dreamy electronic music, which he calls "painting with sounds".
He took a Diploma in Music Synthesis at Berklee College Of Music in Boston.
Christian Welde released "Fairytales", his first solo album, in December 1998.
The album is recorded in his studio using the ADAT digital recording system.
The Ensoniq ASR-10 sampler is the main instrument in his setup.
Everything, except the flute parts, is recorded in this studio.
The flute is recorded at Karmöy kulturhus, Aakrehamn.
The style of the album is new-age/ambient/relax.
