The Russian ensemble Trio Barokko was founded in 1992 by three graduates of St.Petersburg Conservatoire:
Apart from playing traditional Russian music, the Trio performs Classical music with emphasis on the Baroque period. Thanks to the Trio's original arrangements, well-known music is revitalized and given new life in their concerts.
Trio Barokko's repertoire includes music by Bach, Bockerini, Händel, Mozart, Saint-Saëns, etc., as well as traditional Russian folk-songs.
Trio Barokko tours frequently both in Russia and Europe (Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Holland).
From 1991 till 1994 she was a member of the famous Andreyev Balalaika Orchestra and toured widely both in Russia and abroad (USA, Japan and Sweden).
Alexey Krasavin (keyboards, piano, arrangements) was born in Ukhta, Northern region of Russian Federation in 1969 and graduated as a pianist and composer from the specialist music school in St. Petersburg in 1987.
In 1994 he graduated from St. Petersburg Conservatoire as a pianist.
In 1992 he participated in the International Smetana Piano Competition in Czechoslovakia. He has given several solo performances in St. Petersburg and in Denmark.
Andrey Sytenko (Bass-balalaika) was born in Ukraine in 1969, and graduated from the specialist music school in St. Petersburg in 1987.
He graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatoire as an accordeon player in 1993.
He has substantial experience of working in different groups and has toured widely.
