Kiawasch Saheb-Nassagh

The Iranian composer Kiawasch Saheb-Nassagh was born in 1968 in Teheran. As well as studying composition with Prof. Beat Furrer at the University of Music in Graz, Austria, he has studied
jazz, computer music, Persian music, improvisation and setar playing.
His compositions, which are microtonal and display the influence of Iranian folk music, include
electronic and computer music.
Among his best-known compositions are "The lullaby under the Ruins" for orchestra and computer and ".... and here in the silence", an improvisation for Piano.
