Titular organist at Saint-Séverin church in Paris, organ professor at the Conservatoire National de Région (National Conservatoire) in Strasbourg, Christophe Mantoux was born in 1961, in Paris.
After organ studies with Gaston LITAIZE at the Conservatoire National de Région (National Conservatoire) of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, and after getting the 1st Prizes in Harmony and Counterpoint at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique (National Superior Conservatoire) in Paris, he obtained in 1984 the "Grand Prix d'interprétation" (1st prize in interpretation) at the International Organ Competition in Chartres (Grand Prix de Chartres).
He was titular organist at Chartres Cathedral from 1986 to 1992.
Christophe Mantoux performs concerts in Europe, in North-America and in South-America. He is regularly invited to conduct masterclasses, particularly on French organ music.

Après des études d'orgue avec Gaston LITAIZE au Conservatoire National de Région de Saint-Maur-des-Fossés et l’obtention des 1ers Prix d'harmonie et de contrepoint du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, il remporte, en 1984, le Grand Prix d'interprétation du Concours International d'Orgue de Chartres.
Il est organiste titulaire de la Cathédrale de Chartres de 1986 à 1992.
Christophe Mantoux mène une carrière de concertiste, en Europe, en Amérique du Nord et en Amérique du Sud. Il est par ailleurs régulièrement invité à animer des masterclasses, en particulier sur la musique française.

Christophe Mantoux macht eine Karriere als Konzertorganist in Europa, in Nordamerica und in Südamerica. Er hält regelmässig Meisterkurse, besonders über französische Orgelmusik.
