Anders Lundegård In 1995, Dr. Anders Lundegård joined the faculty at West Chester University of Pennsylvania,where he taught both undergraduate and graduate level in saxophone studio, saxophone quartet, clarinet classes, woodwind classes and woodwind literature, and directed the WCU Saxophone Ensemble. He earned his first degree in Saxophone performance at the Royal Conservatory in Stockholm, Sweden, where he was twice honored with the Award for International Studies. Dr. Lundegård was personally invited to work toward his graduate degrees as a Fulbright scholar with the legendary Professor of Saxophone, Dr. Frederick L. Hemke, at Northwestern University. During his Doctoral studies at Northwestern Dr. Lundegård also received the Sweden - America Foundation Award and the Swedish Artists' Association Award. His dissertation, Background and Emergence of the Swedish Saxophone Concerto - Lars-Erik Larsson, Op.14, is an introductory to Swedish saxophone repertoire.

As the director of the WCU Saxophone Ensemble, Dr. Lundegård was very active in recruiting through off-campus clinics and performances, inviting prominent artists/ensembles as host and arranger of the yearly Saxophone Festival at WCU.

Dr. Lundegård's Scandinavian tour in 1998 featured the American composer, Kyndlin Sapp, and her work, The Seven Seas. He also performed at the 1998 Biennial Conference of the North American Saxophone Alliance. He has devoted the last two years to recording and performing in the Philadelphia area, while pursuing a a Master's of Business Administration with a focus on new technologies.
