One of the outstanding musicians to have come forth in Israel in recent years, Drora Bruck is
a virtuose recorder player who Performs extensively as a soloist and chamber music artist in Israel and in Europe.
She graduated from the Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and continued her studies with Pedro Memelsdorff in Milano on a grant from the Italian foreign office.
Drora is a very busy artist, collaborating since 1990 with artists such as Rinaldo Alessandrini, Roberto Gini, Guy de Mei, Klaus Martens, Dan Laurin etc., and recording CDs for EWM and STRADIVARIUS.
Alongside her regular activities Drora Bruck is a keen performer of contemporary music and has had more then 40 pieces composed for her by leading Israeli composers.
Drora was the initiator and editor of the 1st Haifa International Recorder Competition, in which she also sat as a judge.
Drora Bruck heads the Early Music Department in the Neve Sharett Conservatory in Tel Aviv, and is a sought-after coach for masterclasses and workshops.
She graduated from the Tel Aviv Rubin Academy with a B.Mus. in Piano, and an artist diploma in Harpsichord.
Later she continued her studies of harpsichord and basso continuo and Early Music interpretation at the Sweelink Conservatory in Amsterdam, where she studied with Ton Koopman, Gustav Leonheart etc.
Since 1984 Miri has been a very busy performer, in solo recitals, chamber ensembles, as a soloist and as a basso continuo player.
She has performed with all the Israeli orchestras, including the Israeli Philharmonic, participated in festivals in Israel and in Europe, and performs regularly with ensemble Musica Intavolata, Roberto Gini, Nigel Rogers, Michael Melzer and many more.
Alongside her activities on stage she takes a great interest in education and teaches at the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv, Talma Yalin Arts High School, gives masterclasses all over the country and in the annual early music workshop in Jerusalem.
Isidoro Roitman is one of the leading Lute and continuo players in Europe.
He has a virtuosic command of the lute family instruments and a unique playing style.
Roitman works regularly with early music ensembles and baroque dancers in Israel, Italy and England.
He was recently invited to open the first Lute department in an Israeli academy, and he now teaches lute, related instruments and basso continuo in the Rubin Academy for Music and Dance in Jerusalem.
He himself graduated from the same academy as a guitar player, and later on from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he studied the lute with Nigel North.
Isidoro has performed with artists such as Rinaldo Alessandrini, Roberto Gini etc. and recorded CDs for Stradivarius and EWM.
