Philip Donner
Ethnomusicology, Research, Software and Development
Until Spring 2000, Philip Donner worked as researcher and teacher at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.
After his seminar on netcasting at the Centre for Music and Technology in Autumn 1999, he has embarked on a major research and development project in music and netcasting.

Building on his work at the Sibelius Academy, he is now working on building a nordic node for music communication in Kuhmo, a small town in eastern Finland.
This is based on on the framework offered by RealNetworks Inc., amplified by developing custom tools, procedures and user interfaces.
